4th Generation

AJ is having a ton of fun with Grandma and Grandpa Scavia. He has spent hours and hours building blocks, throwing balls, pulling everything out of his toybox, and of course saying "Hi!" Its really neat to see how he interacts differently with people. Grandpa frequently gets dragged into the basement to play, and AJ will run over to Grandma and just sit with her. He'll sequentially touch her bracelet, watch, and earring; today he was even saying "bah-yeah" (bracelet) and "wash" (watch). After only 2 days, Grandma taught him 2 new words!

They also brought down two really neat books for the Champ. One is a big board book about a Duck, which has already been met with many a "Gwack!" The other one (pictured) is an Elmo story book where you can flip the top, middle, and bottom panels to get different pictures and stories. AJ jasn't sat still through a story yet, but he has flipped the pages hundreds of times already. He even grabbed Grandma's finger and lead her over to the book to feel the lion's furry tail.

Today is the last full day of the visit, but we have already packed so much in. We made it to the pool, splashed in the baby pool on the deck (AJ loves water), watched AJ eat more penne with Grandma's special sauce than all of the rest of us combined, and much more. I'm so lucky that AJ has such a great extended family - you all should really see how much he loves Grandma and Grandpa!

That's all for now, I will be sure to upload all the pictures that were taken this weekend soon.
